Tantra Illuminated by Dr. Christopher D. Wallis
The most comprehensive scholarly text on Tantra for the Westerner to understand the roots of authentic Tantra from the Kashmir Shaivism lineage.
Tantra: Sex for the Soul by Somananda
An amazing introduction into Tantra and sacred sexuality from my Tantra school, Somananda Tantra School.
Tantra: The Supreme Understanding by OSHO
A classic for any seeker exploring Tantra in the West.
Near Enemies of Truth by Dr. Christopher D. Wallis
A great resource for combating the "bumper-sticker" spirituality that plagues social media and plateaus our spiritual evolution.
The Kybalion by the Three Initiates
7 Principles of the Universe. Published contemporary to Tesla and Einstein, without this book circulating its rounds in academia at the time, the wisdoms of the men would never have made it out of the realm of fiction and into our reality. A must for any Journeyer.
The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron
This series is a great practical approach to transforming raw sexual energy into creative energy. I highly recommend for my Solo Journeyers struggling to connect to their sacral chakra, Creatrix. I recommend getting the book + workbook at minimum - the meditation book is a worthy cherry on top!
Prayers of the Cosmos by Neil Douglas-Klotz
Reflecting on the Lord's Prayer and Beatitudes from within their cultural roots in the original Aramaic language they were spoken in, it is evident how symbiotic the perspective of Oneness in Tantra reflects the viva la revolution of unity now that emanates from Jesus's native tongue. As Judeo-Christian principles are a foundational cornerstone for modern Western civilization, it is paramount to let the original Word emanate now within our consciousness.
I AM - The Secret Teachings of Aramaic Jesus by Neil Douglas-Klotz
An amazing audiobook for meditation. I recommend this to my Journeyers during their exploration of the heart chakra, Love I AM.
Revelations of the Aramaic Jesus by Neil Douglas-Klotz
Approaching Jesus’s recorded words and teachings through his native language, Aramaic, shows how his deepest teachings address contemporary challenges that overwhelm the West today, such as our relationships with nature and with each other, as well as the purpose of life itself.
Polysecure by Jessica Fern
I recommend this book because of how comprehensive it is on explaining attachment styles and providing insight into the uncomfortable parts of relational dynamics - like jealousy and shame - that monogamous culture avoids addressing (despite such dynamics eroding nearly half of monogamous marriages). My recommending this book is not to promote non-monogamy. Instead, Jessica Fern does an excellent job of providing language for couples to utilize so they can advocate for themselves more effectively in their relationship. Regardless if you are monogamous or non-monogamous, this series will help you understand how to cultivate safe and secure attachments for yourself.
Sex Matters by OSHO
One of my all-time favorite books on sex and sexuality. His perspectives on the sexual impulse and on orgasm were incredibly healing to me on multiple fronts, but mainly on disseminating the overwhelming shame imposed onto me for enjoying sex. He restores the sacredness to the orgasm and the primal humanity in what is sacred.
Arousal by Dr. Michael J. Bader
This book is a great resource for those who feel they struggle with "lustful thoughts" or feel confused or overwhelmed by sexual fantasies. His theory on the logic behind sexual fantasies resonates greatly with the Inner Protector that is explored at length in Solo Tantra.
