Magdala Heals relationships...

...with oneself and with one another, through holistic embodiment coaching, workshops, resources, and retreats that are dedicated to synthesizing sexual health, spiritual self-discovery, and connection with the earth.

In this atomic age of rapid technological expansion, the “race to the bottom of the brainstem” is actually the race to the bottom of our Vagus Nerve, at the base of our spine. I created Magdala Heals for the empowerment of people to take their nervous systems back from the algorithms and find holistic wellbeing again that honors our lands, our bodies, and our technology through bridging what technology ethicist, Tristan Harris, calls the “complexity gap”.

I am a mystic to my core. Growing up with a devoutly contemplative Christian family, I've felt I've been on a spiritual quest my whole life. At a young age, I learned that sexual trauma is a big problem in spiritual communities and secular communities alike. When the churches couldn't provide the sanctuary they promised for my friends and me, I listened to my guides and began to explore Christian texts outside the canon, especially the gnostic gospels. I found the Gospel of Mary when I was 19 and at my most chaotic. It transformed my life. The questions I began about prayer and the evil in the world led me directly to my first encounter with Tantra - a three hour eye-gazing meditation with a fellow follower of Mary, Andrei Knight, except he called himself a Tantrika. Ever since then I have been exploring the complementaries between pre-canonized Christianity - what is called the Way by Paul - and Tantra. I've devoted my practice to exploring these synchronicities and illuminating ways to respect the traditions in their cultural authenticity.

Since 2018, I've been licensed in Tantra Massage (Ayurvedic Acupressure) with Somananda Tantra School. That same year, I attended the Manchester School of Massage for Sports Massage. After the pandemic, in 2021, I opened my first Tantra studio in Bloomington, Indiana.

In Fall 2022, I exhibited research on Tantra & the Polyvagal Theory at the Kinsey Institute's 75th Research Symposium.
